TKMCPS was started by Thangal Kunju Musaliar College Trust in the academic year 1997-1998 in commemoration of the birth centenary of its founder, late Jb. A Thangal Kunju Musaliar-the renowned educationalist, industrialist and philanthropist. The formal inauguration of this supreme venture was on 12th June, 1997 by Jb. Shahal Hassan Musaliar, the President of TKM College Trust.
A chrysalis that houses the beautiful butterfly, Play class of TKMCPS, is indeed a cradle for tiny tots. Blend of a crèche and a second home, Play class provides an atmosphere of enjoyment, fun and learning. Moist eyes soon twinkle; loneliness gives way to lovely friendships and tantrums thrown away, so soon that the kid leaves the school only to arrive soon, the very next day, to join the world of fun and frolic.
T.K.M. Kindergarten, the aesthetically designed, in a myriad-hued ambience of an acre offers the best possible education for your child. The infrastructure is built with convenience. Since its inception in 1997 the Kindergarten has been progressing as a full fledged wing. Every year nearly 500 students are guided into a sphere of learning. This institution gives importance to the overall development of the students
Being committed to a greener TKM, our campus is plastic free. State of the art, waste disposal methods are followed with the establishment of bio-gas plant, to minimize negative impacts on nature.
A variety of clubs, for promoting nature, inculcating skills in literature, art, creating awareness towards heritage, integration and health, are in function.
Students are provided professional counseling by a full time counselor. An infirmary is set up giving a 7 hour Medicare facility.
TKM intends to sensitize students to social needs by evoking not only sympathetic but empathetic sentiments as well to the deprived and less privileged. In this respect, functions the NSS of the institution.
TKM provides opportunities for students, in the form of exhibition, to unleash and exhibit talents. Arts, crafts and science exhibitions are organized for students to explore and project inborn talents.
The Induction ceremony, held with great solemnity, initiates the student council to their respective duties and obligations.
TKMCPS emerged as the overall champion for the third time in the literary contest held by Al Ameen Public School, Edapally.
Young talents are given a platform to exhibit their inborn talents . The winners are taken to represent the school in inter-school and state level competitions
